The first Principles Of Freedom Forum was held at the Mountain Green Fire Department on Thursday, August 27th at 7:00 p.m. It was a great success. With over 50 people in attendance, the room was packed with some having to listen from the hallways.

There were musical selections provided by Blenda McGary, as well as presentations by students from Legacy Leadership Academy and Lanelle Butterfield. Dallin Hardy was the keynote speaker and taught the group directly from the Constitution, sharing information and examples relevant to current topics and issues. It was an educational and inspirational evening for all who attended.

The forum was started by Jennie Earl’s and Pamela Smith’s shared desire for a place to learn Constitutional principles. They believe the majority of Americans espouse the Constitution, often without understanding the principles behind it. They wanted to increase their own understanding and help others do the same. Their ultimate goal is to affect change, grounded in true principles, beginning on a personal level and then extending into the community and beyond.
